Hello.

Here's picture of 12 meter motorized (or 14 meter diameter, no exact info) dish, which was used in 90s for complete reception of 28E position.

Now that company has closed down, and dish is abandoned.

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

A great shame - Its beautiful!

There are other dishes around, smaller sized. A lot of them look similar in construction to this one, and are marked as "PATRIOT". so, this one also comes from Patriot I think...

There are very high chances that this dish is for sale, I can ask for a price, if you want

Yes this is Republic of Georgia (not an U.S. State).

We have theoretical 30W-122E reception range here. Personally, my achievement is 30W-105.5E range.

Here's complete view, showing another dishes at that place. the ones at left and right are PATRIOT 4 meter (or 5 meter) ones. From the first glance, it looks like they are still in use, but on close up photo, we can see broken LNBs and missing cables on the left dish. Right dish looks to be really used right now - you can see a cheap offset LNB stucked in.

As over a month has gone by, it's now in his back garden (or is his back garden now in it ?)

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"
