Thumbs up Gibertini 100 on HH390 with Invacom TWH-031 twin

Gained 2% overall if compared with Penta85...very satisfited ..I'm now curious to see what will happen in case of heavy rain and wind.

I must say it was more difficult to find the right alignment....probably due to a bigger diameter

Hi Lauro,

Nice install but surprised you've seen only a small increase in signal quality.

Is the LNb skewed off a little

Changed title to include TWH-031 rather than SNH-031

My System: Gibertini 1M XP Premium - Inverto Black Ultra .2db LNB - Technomate 2200 motor - Vantage 7100 HD. 57E - 22W - 60cm solid oval dish fixed on 28.2 - Humax Freesat HD - Sony Bravia LCD - Sony BluRay and Sony Home Cinema

Lauro,

You've beaten me to it by a few days I've just checked and my Gibertini 1M XP Premium (in red also) is on it's way out of Germany to France. Should be here by Wednesday I would think.

Well done though, it looks the biz!! Can't wait to get mine installed now!

@Satelliteman: honestly I don't know how much to expect in percentage increase but I can tell you that since I changed from Clarke Tech 2100 plus to CT 5000 HD plus the 97% (max) became less ...so probably the 2% of difference is higher in another receiver.
I also paid much attention to the skew and that position, seems strange, but it is the best one in order to get the max quality signal.
Good you modified the title of the thread :-)

@Sonnepete

Hi Pete, looking forward to seeing your pics. Will you use Inverto Black Ultra .2db on your red Gib? :-)

Lauro,

Yes, I'll use the Black Ultra, as it's been so good on the Triax. I'm less happy with the Vantage HD receiver though and may go back to my Manhattan to do comparison readings.

Pictures will be posted in due course

probably it is a silly question but "surfing" on internet the twin LNB's perform, generally, better than the single one's. Does anybody know why?
I would like to order an Inverto Black Ultra single ....who made a comparison with the twin version?

Lauro,

The Gibertini XP has arrived!! I'm very impressed by the build quality, even down to having an allen key clipped onto the dish mount!

Can I just put a word in for my German suppliers, _www.hm-sat-shop.de

I placed the order online on Sunday evening and it was delivered at 13:30 today (Wednesday) Attached is photo showing dish awaiting assembly.

Simply great !!! I'm very happy for you!!! I give you one advice: remember to replace the 2 wing nuts with proper one's...BUT ESPECIALLY remember to bring them with you before going to the roof as I forgot it

OK, it's up! A bit of a struggle on my own. Will start a new thread and post pictures and a report in due course. Not a great improvement but haven't really set it up properly.

OK Pete...just take your time because the alignment must be perfect starting with those diameters.

I really want to close this thread with sharing my happines with you ALL because I just descovered that I receive (and watch) well the 6 Al jazeera sport channels @12284V and the MBC's @11938...

I don't understand why I can watch those channels if they are codified in Irdeto

Now does anyone in UK receive the other Aljazeera sport channels @12456 V ?

Right today I got the Ultra black :-)...so this week end if it will be sunny I will try and compare it with TNH-031 (and Inverto idpl 40)

Yesssss !!! Yday I installed the Inverto Black Ultra and I must say that I gained 3-4% in quality and 5-6% in Level. Especially for Nilesat I could see a big difference.

Now I need to wait and see how the Black Ultra behaves with rain storms and wind...I got the impression the signal will be less stable compared with the Invacom twin.

PS Kindly ask the Mod's to change the title of this thread into" Gibertini 100 on HH390 with Invacom TWH-031 twin and Inverto Black Ultra"

Thanks
