Talking Dx Bozoth -nuts in every positive aspect

Let me introduce one of the biggest DX -er ever : DX Bozoth

He speak and write only in hungarian , and I used to talk with him on skype. He ask me to shortly present eral forums where other DX-ers are

He is retired, aged 63,real name Toth Laszlo, with QTH: Hungary, Puspokladany 47° 19' 0" N ; 21° 7' 0"E

He used to write reports on flysat (Dx Suvi) and lyngsat (DX Bozoth)
Bozoth like very uch the C band receptions. This year his dreams come true, he managed to build a high tower and on the top instaled a 5m cassegrain prim focus dish. With this dish he managed to receive all the tp from Paksat , Thaicom and other fringes.Only the H polar tp from Astra 2D are imposible to get with the dish!Bozoth also have a 3,7m Andrew motorised dish , and other smaller dishes like 1,8m Kathrein and others. An 4,6m "Scientific Atlanta" dish is pointed at Thaicom, Thaicom being Bozoth's favourite sat , he receive all the tp!!Also he invented many types of polarmounts (take a look at 5m dish polarmount, all homemade by Bozoth). In his workshop he make real miracles like modifying an egis motor (see in photo) .He also help other hungarian freaks , instaling dishes and polarmounts!

Best regards
DoktorOfSat

Hello!
thanks again for the very beautiful pictures!
would be very intrsting to know, how i modify the egis motor, that he can move a dish bigger then 3 meter, maybe you can ask him this?
where he got the sitific atlanta dish from?
i see the receptoin of amos pictures, hope the will not use the same freqency for the hungarian package of the telecom again, then this would make the reception of the yess package imposible!
very intresting whould be the signal results from paksat 38 east cband, and the regional beam of thaicom 5,since the satellite change, the signal is now much lower, then before, also a last test at eutelsat w4 in the circular channels!
send nice greetings to him from all of us here, looks real amazing here, hope not strong winds coming like here,in this autumn, yesterday we have around 80/km/H in the morning and again happen in the evening the same!

My System: Covering 30W-105.5E range, two motors, C and Ku band. Various receivers/cards/cams/etc.

I think we should collect all info about famous sat DX ers.

I know a little about N. Stanislav (flysat & lyngsat contributor). He lives in Voronezh, Russia, and uses two primefocus polarmounted dishes, 2.5 and 3.6m diameter.

I'm very interested in location and equipment of T. Kameda and I. Perera...

since i saw this ,i cant sleep well,my 3 meter dish looks very little instead of this unbelivible monster

also dont know the price of this dish, good bless then the $ rates are now where low!
very important!
how he fix the constraction od the dish,on the ground, when massive winds are coming, hope every thing will be strong enough!

can someone callculate, when the wind blows lets say with 80 km/H,how strong, the dish surface, will be affected,in kg by the wind, when the size is over 5 meter?

here with 4,5m andrew,i got condirmed, signal of the new thaicom regional beam, mostly not here, only sometimes!
around 2 years ago,mtv thailand was transmitting in kuband, ans strenthly it was posible to receive here in europe with a 2,40 m dish, this is something what i dont understand,..how this could hapapen..
then this transpponder was switched offf, about the modifcation of egis,i only could imagine, that heavey massive stone weights are using, espasayly in the eastern, and western satellites, where it is very dangerous for the antenna when the wind comes,to turning back the antenna with egis, from the lowest declination, the nitec controller needs alot of power, when it to much, the system swtich off,in the normal focus version!
when he use the more expensice profi tracker version, then ,all components, inside the egis controll unit are microchips controlled by a more powerfull computer cpu, that makes the controll, and espasaly the automatic movment more exactly!

all i know,to find every secret,of our hobby out,we have also to learn other languages!
english is the world langauge ,iam happy, that i deside it,when i was 14 years old to learn in private school,if i would not do this in the past ,i could not write here on the board

same hapens now with coutrys, that dont speaks english, thats very bad,we only can use translations tools, but exotic language are harder to translate,in other words, when we not learn other langauge ,we never understand, what the trying to tell us
when i was on sout american trip to years ago in mexico and guatemala,no one speaks english and i no spain, and then you feel like lost in space, then you can onlly use the body language to comunicate !

Here are some new photos again

Bozoth's new polarmount for a 150cm dish. With a 12" motor this polarmount drives the dish from 96,5E to 53w at Bozoth's QTH of course

In the photo with Bozoth himseft you can see the excelent condition of reception .He is surroundid only with plain territory, no hills and mountains not even tall treesIdeal conditions , all who try to receive birds with little elevation angle know how important this fact is

Another Bozoth;s work is that cool dish (photo from da beck of the dish) 3m in diameter cool polarmount drived by 2 motors.I think it's he best system ever in the terms of stability and precision!!
