My System: Sky HD box, SkyStar 2 TV card in PC. Triax TD78 with off-set bracket and 3 LNB's. Homwbrew AMD 64x2, Windows 7
My new setup

I was reminded recently that there is more up there that Astra 2 and the Sky service. While i am very pleased with my Sky HD box, im also nosy and after finding this forum and browsing Ebay for kit, i decided to put a multi LNB setup together Spent a couple of hours this morning up and down the ladder and its pretty much sorted! Think im going to have to tweak 28E a little, but its all physically in place and working!

So i know have:
Triax TD78 dish with multi-LNB bracket
4 way Switch
Single LNB on 13E
Single LNB on 19.2E
Quad LNB on 28E

The 2 single LNB's and 1 feed from the Quad go to the switch. The feed from the switch is currently going to a Sky Star 2 TV PCI card in my PC. Once im happy with the 28E alignment i will transfer the 2 feeds to the sky box over from the current mini dish and take it down.

Thanks again to everyone here for all the help and advice.

Yup it is, a Watson 2000 triband for 6M, 2M and 70Cms. Only really ever use it on 2 and 70 though. There is an HF vertical at the other end of the garden.

Nice.

Have a Discone SE1300 myself for 25Mhz -1300Mhz scanning. Also had a 1/2 wave rod for FM 27Mhz years back. That's when I use to mess about with SWR meters and firestick rods on the base of a biscuit tin

Certainly have a nice selection there.

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Thankyou for those pics - You've done as you said here : A "proper job".

Well done

Hmm tempting

Next thing i want to put up really is a 2M Yagi with a rotator. Once the mini dish is out of the way, i'll have room for a decent set of T&K brackets to hold a large ally pole. Yagi and rotator on the top and the colinear on top of that.

Will be putting up a mates tower scaffold for that little job!

Nah, chicken feed!

What you really need is an HF Beam on a really intrusive Lattice Tower

I would love to do that Tivu!
A couple of months back i put up one of those Comet rotatable dipoles for 10/15/20/40. It was on a 3 meter pole in a V shape and each element is 5 meters long. It was up 6 days and i had a bloke from the council round
