My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Well done Leigh, good to see you've got it up and running.

My System: 90cm Dish. Dual Lemon LNB for 13E/19E. Twin Output Lemon LNB for 28.8E. Samsung 9500 with 'alternative' firmware. Couple of DigiBoxes. Amateur Radio station. Going Bald with a patient wife!

...and it's working fine too thanks guys - just typical though - Radio amateur who buys a house on one of the highest hills in the city and gets amazing coverage on the amateur bands - only to discover the rear of the house is pretty much due East and hopeless for mounting satellite dishes - hence the dish almost at 90degs to the wall in the only spot I could see the sky above.

Not all bad though - once I chop a tree in the neighbours yard (absentee landlord who has given me permission but it's a 40ft sycamore!) - I can mount a fully motorised one that has a good view of the horizon - and luckily I've the 120cm one on it's way though I might see if I can swap it or at least use the mounts to put another 90cm one up.

Leigh...

My System: 3 x Skystar2 e Neotion501 & K-box Antena Este 4 LNBS Astra 2A, Astra 19 E, Hotbird 13E, Eutel 16 E Antena Oeste 3 LNBS Intel 901, NSS 7, Telstar12

He forever changed the way we intellectually perceive the abstract purposefulness of duck tape!

Well im back again with some pics from my currently setup:

Now i have 2 dishes with 3 lnbs and 4 lnbs ...but always on upgrading....yes...i mean for now i have a East dish with 4 lnbs, pointed to Astra 19E, Astra 2A,2D Eurobird, a Hotbird 13 E and an Eutelsat 16E, being the main sat Astra 19E....

On West dish i have got a LNBs pointed to Intel 901 18 W, NSS 7 22 W, Telstar 15 W....

Always using duck tape and some steel.....hehehehehe....just those materials can make wonderful things for my setups.....

Well i broke my last setup cause i had a motor mounted on East that lost a bolt....i mean broke the bolt.....so i quit on motors....or maybe not...also had a motor with more than a lnb....

But well, i wasnt very satisfied with that motor, too much time to get a channel and no direct channel tuning....its a bit boring for me.....i like zapping.....

Ok, now for real, i have a West dish with 1,10 m and an East dish with 1,20 dish.....also another 1,10 m waiting to startup....

Nice set up vk7ae, I love the big mesh dish`s.

On the 2.3m dish pic it says diseqc feed? Is the feed motorised? As I would have thought a dish that size would be too big for a diseqc motor?

My System: 75e-75w C & KU, 36v diseqc Anlg HD Channel Master C120

This shouldn't have worked at all...

.....we only did it for a larf...

.....until we wired it up ......

...and OK, they would never work like that without real surgery...

..but some did work...........33.2 degree split ...28.2e 13e 5w ...

....... on a UK Sky dish.... (zone 1 45cm mid UK)

That's what we got when we wired it up to a diseqc switch ..so you can work out what sat spacing is needed... and the surgery needed with a hacksaw & hot melt gun to get them closer.... but 40 degrees is possible on a Sky dish if 33.2 worked by accident ..... just having the time- and there's no shortage of disgarded Sky LNBs.
