Hi RomanDavid.
The Metrix is limited to an upper frequency of 1750 MHz.
Do you use a downconvertor to read above this frequency?

Hi Llew!!!

yes,SAT/TV/FM measurements receiver ITT Metrix have tunning nr. 1 frequnce from 940 to 1780 MHz.If i use universal LNB /for example Invacom SNF 031/ LOF 9,7 Ghz 10,6 GHz,iam use external 22 kHz swith/12V/,by the way frequence extender for higher frequence too!!!

I have too QPSK Constelation diagram locator and BER,S/N..... definitor and this equipment is great for profesional eweryday use.

I am interesting about High Frequence engineering

Welcome to the forum BTW.

Yes, that's what I use to extend the frequency range. Just have to convert the analyser readings to obtain the true frequency.
Wiil get a digital SA one day...

Hi
No problems with Nilesat vertical channels with SMW 1.2 dish/Invacom (over 50 most of the day on certain TP's) in eastern UK. Nothing on Horizontal (weaker TP's I beleive)

Hi RomanDavid

Unfortunately I only record to hard disk, and haven't a DVD burner.

As Crufts is of international interest, It might be possible to find a feed somewhere on the day.

Alternatively, you could try posting a request in the 'Chitchat and Meeting Place' section of this forum.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have tried to find a picture of my old 3 meter dish i had 15 years ago which was made by Winegard in USA, i have found a picture now.....

I had a Seavey feed and the dish had a f/d of 0.285, extremely deep, it was a very good performer and was made in 8 segments, this was the Rolls-Royce of perforated dishes with Ku-band mesh.

Motorised monoblock

Sorry about the large picture sizes, I'm still getting the hang of the camera.

Pic 3 is a special type of new dish to help the aliens know what I am
thinking about- thus far no complaints from them so it must be working.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

I have to say that seeing views like the one in the fourth photo is one of the things I love about working on roof tops.

Hello all,

I'm just getting started with my satellite setup. It began with a 2nd hand sky digibox & dish, but now i've got a 2nd digibox and a sat card for the PC on the way.

Today I swapped my LNB for a quad and strapped the old LNB to the arm pointed at 19.2.

Under the 28" Bush TV I have this selection of toys:
Playstation2
xBox
Sony Amp/Receiver
Sony Minidisc
Pace Digibox
Panasonic E55 DVDR
Cyberhome DVD
NTL STB
Around the back is my wireless router feeding the Laptop, 2 PC's and both consoles, Oh and the 12 mains plugs !!

I like it Scotty, shows a bit of ingenuity there.

Well spotted,
It sure is, I don't need it as i'm actually in Bournemouth, but we're hoping to move to France soon so it'll come in handy there.

Finally, now that my daughters gave me a digital camera for my birthday and I have managed to learn to drive it (hopefully).

!m Gibertini dish, Moteck SG-2100 motor, arc from 53* east (until trees grow foliage) to 58* west. Nothing special, but it works for me.
