My System: Astra,Hotbird,Hispasat,Astra2+Humax HDCI 2000+Sanyo Z2 |
Hi At last, I did it .I had already 2 dishes, one for Astra1 and Hotbird, and another for Hispasat. The problem was to put an extra dish for Astra2. Since I live in Portugal, I need an 1,2m dish, and its size didn't allow me to put it near the other two (in the roof). The solution was this: I put it fixed in a wall in my garden. You can see the cable going up, because I have my Diseq in the roof near the other 2 dishes. You can see also my neighbour's portuguese flag, because tomorrow the WC begins As I said before, that's a 1,2m dish, with an Inverto SilverTech High Performance Universal Twin LNB (0.3dB). Now, let's go inside. Here you have a panoramic of my living room. I have a Sanyo Z2 projector. This first picture is only to give you a perspective of the size of the screen Here you can see my Humax HDCI 2000 in top of my Yamakawa DVD and of my Yamaha amplifier. You can see also my Sanyo Z2 and an uninvited fly In this picture you can see the strength and quality of the signal with BBC HD on Astra2 (I took this picture at 8 PM). It's not perfect, but it does its job . I hope that, with this example, more people in Portugal and Spain feel encouraged to try to catch Astra2. As you see, it's not impossible.Finnaly, you can see a picture that I took from my screen while watching BBC HD. The real image is much better than this one, because I couldn't use my flash in the camera, so its overture time was too much for my trembling hands That's all, but first I would like to thank all of you for your support and advices, and especially to our friend Rato. One last word: My total investment (Humax HDCI 2000, dish and LNB) was around 500 Euros. Ervil | ||
