My System: VISTA ULTIM AMD 5600 X2 2GB Memory Technotrend 3650 CI DVB-S2 Compro 350 DVB-S Hauppauge 900 DVB-T NVIDIA GeForce 7600 And this doesnt' work the way I want it too. :( |
Ok I'm at the point that I'm thinking of getting rid of my HTPC and replacing it with a Qbox The functionality of Vista & DVB -S2 using DVB-Bridge/Dvb Viewer etc is just a pain to constantly tweak plus I made the initial mistake of purchasing a Technotrend DVB-S2 3650ci which has terrible support. The sats I want to receive at a min are Thor 1w plus HD Channels, and some channels from Hotbird 13. I know that conax is the encryption of the channels I want which I know the Qbox can decrypt as it has an imbeded Diablo Cam. My only worry is - how stable / user friendly is a Qbox, will this solve my frustration. Is there a different box you would suggest. Mickey | ||
