hello i have problem to create connection between (stb  >pc) to upgrade software and encrypted channels. that is because my receiver’s data port is not standard port, so I opened the stb’s case and see what is written with the pins (see pictures below). so i made one cable connection as "straight cable connection " and also as "cross cable connection " and tried several times, but i failed. what i find there is extra pin with unclear written which i guess is (+3.5V) but I’m not sure. so please tell me how can i create connection and let it works, also need loader for this to work. or standard loader to work with my reciever here is some information about the receiver’s chipsets: ALi M3328C B1 EON EN29LV040A-70JCCP WINBOND w9816g6ch-6 and also here is the pictures: _http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/7048/coshipcdvb3188c1tp7.jpg _http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/1751/coshipcdvb3188c2sn3.jpg _http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/3606/coshipcdvb3188c3cv2.jpg _http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/2770/coshipcdvb3188c4ey0.jpg | ||

I have a rather similar problem. I have an STB with the same microchip here are the details:- EON 29LV040A 70JCCP W-ch WCT. ISI ISH-8 02PMW8J AMS 1111 TB 0812 Motherboard ID GX6101+ZL10039 V8.7B Hardware Model 512K Flash Hardware version GX6101 DVB-S V1.0 Software version SMART V1.0 I am trying to find the software to update it. My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs  Saved us from the black plague of ignoratio elenchi, he awaits a special badge with jugs |
