I SEE MANY TECHNOSAT RECEIVERS IN THE WEBSITES.MY RECEIVER IS TECHNOSAT 1020 CLASSIC.I KNOW THE WEBSITE WWW.TECHNOSAT-UAE.COM. BUT THER I COULDNT FIND THE SOFTWARE OF MY RECEIVER INSTEAD I FOUND ANOTHER DIFFERENT VERSION.IS THAT THE ONLY WEBSITE FOR TECHNOSAT RECEIVERS?ANYONE SPECIALLY THOSE HAVING THIOS RECEIVER ARE KINDLY ASKED TO HELP ME.THANKS IN ADVANCE.

i found the receiver there but it doesnt have any software for the receiver.it just tells the specification.i suspect that some companies have produced these stbs as if it is produced by the uae.my technosat 1020 classic says in its behind made in korea but the package outside says www.technosat-uae.com.how come this be????????????????????????????

Can you make a picture of the receiver label on the back or the bottom and attach it so that we can have a clearer picture about your case ?

Anyway, I found the software for the T-1020 but I am not sure if I can put the link here since this might be against the forum rules or if it really for your model so do be careful.

If the receiver is not working, then you should send it to a repair shop.
What makes you think that you need to change the software ?

I will help you to download the software, just follow the procedure below:

In the text box type the following text:

Technosat T1020 Classic Software

In the results page you will see several results.

Click on the line that says:

Satellite Receiver Software

In the page that opens, find the text T-1020 Classic and then download the zip file

Unzip the file in a subfolder and this would be the software for your receiver.

If you haven't done any software upgrading yourself, then ask the help of a friend or someone professional who does.

You will probably need an RS-232 crossed cable. Look at the back of the receiver and it should have a 9-pin male D-Type connector.

hey friend i managed to download the software that you informed me and it is in my computer,but the software says software for technosat T 1020 classic -open market.but my receiver doesnt have the T . also it doesnt have say open market.so i am hesitating to put the software so what can you say to me about this case?

All the Technosat models that I have seen start with T

I think that Open Market means FTA (Free To Air), meaning that your receiver can only open channels that are not encrypted (Free, you don't need to pay for a subscription to watch).

If you bought this receiver new, then you should have a manual for it.
Go over it and check the specifications.

If you are not sure, don't take the risk. Consult with the local dealer if you haven't done so already.

also i have heard this FTA receivers can be patched to watch encrypted channels.how much are we lucky to get patched software for technosat 1020 classic?tnx
