No sleeping here Legrandchauve,but unfortunately no news about this firmware.
I would like people to post if they have some info about changing the keys in the "digitalsat-tv" firmware(maybe not possible),I haven't made any improvements but I really have tried!

I've got the french firmware srt3680 and it works very well.
Do you know how I can extract it from the memory?

Would be very nice of you to share Olivier!I think it's very difficult to copy the firmware from the receiver,it will probably be like trying to copy a installed software from Windows.But let's work on it together!I'll be back about this.....

Olivier,what kind of upload tool do you use when you update your settings/
channel lists?Do you use the Coship up tool?For me the button "get data from stb" doesn't work.

Hi!

I've been trying to find a solution for making a dump/copy of the rom in my Coship because if I could,olivier1963 could make a copy of his rom for us to use.Had an idea to use Windows Hyper Terminal to connect to the receiver and have tried it too,unfortunately I had no succes with this mainly because I don't know in what "language" I'm supposed to communicate with the receiver.
Anyone else with ideas about this?!?

I don't know is the "right" one but....

anyone have a solution some idiot gave me a bad flash, it isnt responding to the com utility, i think it was for a logix FTA receiver

Yes your right about the Logix receiver,but if you have the "upgrade software" running while you switch on the main switch on the back side of the receiver,it will possible to overwrite the patch,you may have to try a couple of times though.

Questions to the guys who has the French-sold receiver with the good-working patch:
Does it disable any buttons on the remotecontrol?(like text-freeze-positioner or uhf buttons)How may keys for scrambled channels can you store in the receiver?
How do you change your keys?Please provide as accurate information about this as you can!

no buttons seems to be disabled

it seems to be no limitations in nb of keys ????

to change key, type 8282 then you have the screen with keys
you choose encryption type with color keys
red=seca green=irdeto yellow=via blue=nagra

to add a key you click on "1"

to delete "2"

to modify you go to the key you want to change with the directional arrow than you clic on "OK".
you have new little window with 3 cases :
1° for provider code (0003 for C+France, 07C00 for TPS, 1702 for ORF for ex)
2° for key index (0C, 0D....)
3° for key (in this format "1A DF E2 A8 45 98 3E 68")
to do that you have in this window nb from 0 to 9 and letter from A to F

i thought this link http://www.freetranslation.com/ might be usefull,either reading or translating in other languages. so at least if someone can't post in english they can use this free translator. naturally it's not perfect, i picked one at the top of the search with the most languages. it translates sites also. based on how this translation comes thru,i'd post the original language after the translation if need be.
