please help i am using a null cable. to-connect my technomate tms 1000 d box to my pc when i click conect It will say something like version 1.66 detected but it doesnt give me start option no option to choose anything else part from exit can some one help me plz i am using v1.8 loader | ||

Meter=Satlook Micro+G2 NIT | Hi, You only press the connect button once you have told it what you want to do. E.G To download new firmware, you click the 'Software' tab. Browse for the *.stb file that you want to download. Then press connect. The same goes for 'channels', except you can upload or download those. | ||

My System: Dreambox 500S & 7020s. Technomate 9100 & 1500. Force frontier fixed, Raven 90 fixed, Triax 90 motorised dish. Diablo & dragon cams. | Have you clicked the 'auto detect' button to check your connection is healthy? If it is and you are updating your patch then ensure you have 'software' selected, the click 'browse' selct your new patch, then press 'connect'. Now your new patch should download to the stb, I am going from memory as I haven't used this receiver for a while! Regards, Ollie | ||

It has to find which com port it's on. The bit that's confusing me though, is that it is reporting the software version,  which it gets from the box. | |||

yes it has find which port and i have choose the software from browser but when clich on conect it detect the reciever software virsion but after that it doesnt do anything plz help | |||

Meter=Satlook Micro+G2 NIT | To test the communication out, can you upload and download the channel list? Try a factory reset maybe? Have you bu99ered up a previous download.? If so, there is one way it might work and that is by having the box switched off at the mains. Then start the connect ( to download new softaware) and switch the box back on at the mains at the same time. N.B Do this at your own risk, because I have never tried this. By the way, the DM software you're trying to load is out of date, you want the one Ollie has mentioned. | ||
