hi guys,
I made the upgrade of my receiver Stream BM-8300CI (Kaon 570Z). Everything is OK for T°S and Multivision.. but I lost the french free channels !
In fact after 10 seconds I loose the channel for TF1, France 2 etc...
Do I have to flash it again with another software or... ?

You have to press spacebar after opening the software to enable "Engineer Mode" then continue as is.

You are so right, i found that later on the night, idd, you just need to press the space.

All is running perfect now, TPS, Viaccess, Mediaguard. All open.

Hardware : Kaon KSF-570 ( no CI slot ), only COM-port.

working with tps.
but can't seem to clear nagra 6fo1 or 6e01. abs-cbn on hotbird using the emu.

I have a kaon receiver provided by my service provider Dishtv in India to watch its channels which r broadcast using conax from nss6 @95 east
its details are as follows
Loader Version: - 2.1.6

SYSTEM RESOURCES:-

Flash Memory: - 1 Mbyte

SDRAM: - 8Mbytes

Main CPU MPEG Chip: - STi5518

TUNER

Frequency range: - 950MHZ-2150MHZ

Symbol Rate: - 2-45Mbaud

Demodulation: - QPSK

Input Connector: - F type female (75 ohm)

Fec Mode Rate: - ½, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8.

its hardware version is 01.00
and s/w is 01.05( I think that original software has been modified for the company use)
receiver model is KSC 100 MCO

please help me by providing update for this receiver with loader.
Suppose I updated the receiver with another software, than will its original serial number and U/A number will also be modified? If this is the case then I won't be able to receive its original subscription.

ALL ABOUT KAON RECEIVER

Friends, I required some genuine help from all of you. I have put up my receiver into serious trouble. I have a KAON receiver from www.kaonmedia.net I have purchased this receiver to use legal service from DISHTV INDIA (www.dishtvindia.com). Although the receiver make and model is similar to ‘KAON KSF 100 CO’ but its hardware and software version have been modified and it shows the following version.

Loader version: - 2.1.6

H/w: - 01.00

S/w: - 01.05.00

Model name: - KSC-100 MCO. (The model name I think probably have been changed)

Actually I have crashed the receiver software. I tried to reload the software but didn’t find any matching software. Lastly I got angry and updated my receiver with KSC-511Z

H/w: - 12.05.A5

Using the loader called KUP230 in engineering mode. Finally my receiver started. Everything is working fine except one great problem. I AM NOT GETTING ANY SIGNAL. One important thing I noted is that, I can see a flashing logo of ‘CROSSED DISH ANTENNA’ on left top of my TV screen.

Another important thing is that I might have damaged my receiver’s serial number and U/A number during all this up gradation. Without this I cannot watch my legal subscription.

Now I have opened up my receiver and carefully noted each and every hardware to get help from all you friends. I am providing all these details below.

Friends, please help me to get out of this situation. The service is not accepting the receiver due to self alteration and demanding very much. So, please tell me which software will work with my model and how can I get Serial number and U/A number of my receiver back.

Please provide a genuine help. I will also send the same text to KAONMEDIA help desk.

after uprading,my xtreme hornet,the menu password,has been resetet ksc 570 with build in skycrypt!
now,its inposible,to enter the installation menu...
123456 does not work,can anyone,tell me,what i must do,to make,a factory reset,that i come back to default settings?
or is there any masterpw,that i can try?
