If so its the last 4 digits of the card number of the FIRST card to have been activated in the box - (unless subsequently changed of course)

If its been with you from new then phone sky to get it changed. If its an old box from Ebay you are probably out of luck

thank you for you advice, it was second hand from Ebay but only some chanels were locked, but after searching for the local itv north east and storing around five more chanels- when switching back to chanel 4 uk the receiver asked for a pin code?, which is a little annoying as i only purchased this box to get chanel 4 and5 uk as signal is weak to nil in my area

Sounds like age restrictions have been set on the box - unfortunately you need the pin to take them off!

Try getting C4 this way

Go to Add Channels (services 4 4)

10729V
22000 5/6

Add the channel 8350 - this is a fta version of Channel 4

You can then watch it using Other Channels (services 6 on a normal box services 9 on a sky+ box)

Theres no fta versaion of C5 yet.
