My System: technomate tm 5400 and 80cm dish motorized
stupid maybe

am i retatded or will a technomate tm5400 pick up freeview through the standard antenna.

I don't think so.
Only if it has a suitable tuner for digital terrestrial broadcast.
Check the receiver specifications.

My System: TM6800HD+TD110+StabHH90 motor,TM1000D+Orbital 1m +Moteck motor.45E to 45W. 2 x minidishes.DigitAlB movies. A Bigsat BS-S77CX and a Sky Dodgibox.

No it will not work with an aerial.

The TM5400 is a satellite receiver only. It will only work when connected to a dish.

If you want FREESAT the dish needs to point to 28E.

The aerial connections are for loopthrough and to provide a UHF modulated output for any connected televisions.
