Cool Emtech receiver patched to starsat receiver

Hi,

I recently found out that I could patch my Emtech 200 CI receiver with the file starsat_ci_255.bin.

I did this and now I have the hidden key editor screen where I can enter keys for v*acce*s, bet*crypt, ir*eto, nagr*vis*on and s*ca.

I'd like to know if this includes keys for versions 1 and 2 for each system or just version 1. Fro excample, If I had a key for Ir*eto 2 would this work in my receiver or only keys for Ir*eto 1?

If you can find the keys then it will probably work, but it is highly unlikely that you'll find keys if the encryption has not been hacked, like Irdeto2 for example.

Don't know if your receiver has the same menu structure as mine - a StarSat SR-X200CI - but if you do, press the menu button on the remote, scroll down to STB Setting and without entering the menu, key in 1,2,3,4 to get to the key editor menu.

dear xenoxen its impossible to work S*ca2 or irdeto2 in this firm but you must update with an other firm witch support the 2 provider

I have houston 8100ci (Arion 8100ci), I upgrade it with openbox 8100ci firmware and ihave seca/seca2, irdeto/betacrypte, viaccess, nagravision autoupdate, and all work the firmware is date 07/07/2004.

Hi. I've visited some links where i saw Starsat X200 and Openbox 8100 are very similars.

but the boot loader is diferent.

hi
i got a receiver with philips written on the front cover and a sticker pasted on the main board of philips , model 5001.
but in the pcb it was written Emtech , em 100 CAS,

1. now can anyone tell me which emtech firmware do i upgrade it to?
2. is that an Emtech receiver ?
3. can i upload the starsat firmware to this receiver?
