Post Sharing Tutorial für EzyBox

Hello,

i have found a tutorial for sharing with your Ezybox. I think its interesting for somebody.

This is a experimental preview version with a pure sharingclient.

Preliminaries:
- EZYBOX 8000 with WLAN connection
- running gbox instance (for testing/training local intranet-instance recommended!)
- basic knowledge about sharing & gbox

After installing this firmware:

1. enter menu

> 5678 " emu-menu " (just as before)

> select "Code" Standard Pin: 0000

check that's "On" ! (yellow button)

2. select "M settings" (M:-line data)
> edit address = ezybox-ip (compare to IP settings)
> edit PASSWS = ezybox-password
> select Messages (beginners should enable)

-------------------------------------------------------------------
M example:

192.168.12.88
A1B2C3D4
Yes

corresponding to
M: { 192.168.12.88 { A1B2C3D4 }}
--------------------------------------------------------------------

leave with menu-button, don't save !
(Choose 'no')

3. select "D settings" (D:-line data)
use first page (Dbox = 1)

> switch Online = yes
> edit Address = gbox-ip
> edit PORT1 = inport no.
> edit PORT2 = outport no., if possible try == input no.
> edit PASSWD = gbox-password
> edit Level1 = own cards distance
> edit Level2 = peer cards distance

-----------------------------------------------------------------
D example:
yes
192.168.12.80
8020
8020
FF99EE88
4
4
corresponding to
D: { 192.168.12.80 { 8020 8020 { FF99EE88 { 4 4 }}}}
-----------------------------------------------------------------

let pages 2..5 "offline" (Online = no)

leave with menu-button, save now!
(choose 'yes')

4. After this automatic restart done:
> zap to fta - service
> switch power off !

5. switch power on
and be patient !

> ezybox has
to initialize itself
to initialize WLAN
and last not least
to initialize the gbox-connection
(check the messagebox)

> zap to crypted service (check: this services card is recognized within the connected gbox instance!!)
rightside of the infofield you'll find a hint added: [ CA-system, (used CA-ID) / box-ip ]

=> Please wait a moment: Firsttime needs some time !!!
(as usual *ggg*)

First Aid
a) If not connected at once, try reconnect WLAN!

Menu > System Settings > Wireless Network ... wait until AP-scan complete.
Press okay-button for reconnect.

b) If connected and not clear, try deleting this CA-IDs keys in 'Code'

Please test and report...
