A cam is a small box of electronics which slots onto the cam slot in the front of the receiver. The card goes into the cam and the cam reads the subscription info off the card. For guaranteed football the pay services that carry the 3pm's are not cheap to subscribe to - most of them are around a 1000 quid a year if you have to use a UK based reseller.
