Help needed please. I am in Turkey and I have lost the instructions on how to update the software on my Echosmart dsb791. I remember doing it last year using the usb and keys I obtained on the web, but I cannot recall exactly what I did and I don,t want to mess my box up doing it wrong. I have the latest software I just need a reminder on how to input it please. | ||

Welcome to the forum nigel517 Ok well I do not know your stb but generally you have some software on your PC which allows you to connect to the stb via a null modem or USB connector. You load the bin or hex file on the PC then often switch off the stb and back on again. Some units are different, but to be honest nobody is messing around with keys and files these days as apart from Digi TV at 1 West everything is now secure | ||
