Receiver Software problem - Mediacom MFT910+New

Hi All,
I had been using Mediacom receivers for few years now. Initially I started with "Mediacom MFT910 plus". It then started misbehaving, firstly by not responding to the remote control especially MENU button. I had to use the buttons on the receiver. Then it began misbehaving even to the buttons as well, for instance if you change the channel the picture doesn't change until you reboot it. Furthermore only the two buttons were working - Channel Up and Channel Down.

I figured out that it might be software problem. I had no means to correct it I decided to purchase new receiver, "Mediacom MFT910+New". This one worked fine for quite sometime until last week. I was loading the backup data and the AC mains failed, when the power was restored my receiver failed to boot completely.

Is there a way to correct the problem with the two receivers? if indeed it is software problem where can I get it and how to flush/load?

Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

Hello

Welcome to the forum Kassimu

I doubt very much if there is anything that can be done, perhaps Jtagging would help but without a source of files I do not think you will succeed, checking their website I think it would be cheaper and quicker to buy another one for $45

hi fundi!
in my opinion i think the best solution is to pack your receiver
and to make a contact with a best known dealer in country
LEVITRONIC.
