Your choice is simple either 1) pay for a subscription 2) if you dont want to pay then you do without

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me. | Not "all the Channels", no: But you can pick up the Free to Air Channels that are "on Sky" with any Digital Satellite Receiver, from a Lidl cheapie upwards to the latest Linux jobbie. It depends what you meant by "Sky" - It's just that quite a lot of people are unaware that things like BBC, ITV are actually unencrypted so although they are "on Sky" they are also there for the legitimate taking by any UK Licence Payer with non-Sky equipment.

My System: Dreambox 7025, Dreambox 500s, Technomate 6900 Super, Foxsat HD Freesat, 90Cm and 1.2 CM | Hi the only thing you will get for free from Sly in their news, if you are after FTA (free to air) channels from the group of satellites situated at and around 28.2 E then any satellite box will pick them up, as they are FTA and you do not need any cards, cams or EMUs to decode the signal. If, on the other hand, you want to get Sly channels for free have another think, their encryption is rock solid and there is no public hack for it. Best regards Wez

My System: Cuberevo Twin HD on a 85cm motorised Fracarro Penta dish. Superior Dark Motor. Inverto BLACK Ultra Single lnb (IDLP-SINL40-ULTRA-OPP) | There are plenty of Freesat receivers on sale. You'll get an epg just like Sky's and watch 100's of channels for free - legally. Some come with hard drives so you can record programmes using the epg. Or simply use any satellite receiver and pick up all the free channels.

Thats an exaggeration Its about about 150 on the Freesat epg atm (and reducing rapidly as channels go out of business!!). Its less if you discount all the BBC regional versions.

My System: 1.1m Triax Motorised 45e-45w, Raven 60cm fixed, Fortex Zeta PVR, Technomate TM500 | IMHO the only multicrypt cam available at the moment that might get an update in the future for it is the Diablo, but that isn't guaranteed.
