sorry dear friends I found that the two links are not working any more so I uploaded the file of m2 which I'm already have , I downloaded it by the same link , but really I don't know why it's not working , but also I'm apologize to my friends who got m1 , because I didn't downloaded it before , so I don't have it on my PC .

Hello Dear Mehranmh , after downloading the files from the site , they are 3 files :
1- Dwonload
2- Dcl4
3- Srt4870b or a
to upload the 2 ( Dcl4 & Srt4870 b or a ) files by the program download
by connecting the RS cable
to get to the menue if it didn't work with 0000 try 0325 or 0235
to get to the monitoring on CAS info. it's 6962

Thanks but I didnt want to upgrade the reciver
I have got your SRT48702m-2003-0919 file
and i've uploaded it
but i couldn't decode scrambled channels
I've even used 6962,6969 and 8282 on scrambled channels
pls tell me how can i decode scrambled channels

Dear mehranmh I'm sorry about this misunderstanding , the link for upgrading the receive it's to ( majix ) not for you .
but for your receiver this Patch will decode some scrambled channels on HotBird Like this poquet
Multivision , ABSAT , Canal + , SFI .....
I can't remeber the others ,& you don't have to use the numbers you have because when you go to any channel of them will be decoded directly ,
but all this won't happen unless you have the FunCard 6in1 or any other kind of these Cards with a new code on it .

Hi dear , Plz take a look on this thread No.3 ( the uploaded file ) to update the CAM, but first go to the link on thread No. 7 , to get the latest updates from strong company , & to get the downloader too
after you download the files & uploading them to your SRT , then update the CAM

there is no no-card patch for SRT-4870 ! like as 4620 &4610 II !
only with FUN-CARD and as above link over smatpatch !

Well, is SRT4870 dead or what? Maybe nobody is working on it, that is why it doesn't work like other strong receiver with 6969 & 8282 features.

Any updates on how to open scrambled channels? How the "Over the Air" download works. I select and a window appears the "please wait" and then nothing happens for a long time until I cancel it. How can I use the PID code?

SRT4870 cannot work with key menu feature. It can work with card only. Ask Strongpatch03*yahoo.com for further details.
