Question Entering code in homecast

anybody knows how to enter a new code to homecast eM-150 receiver???

Hi,
get to STB setting, press '1234' and enter the codes.
The system supports Intredo, Seca, Mediagoard, Nagravision.

getting codes

thank you very much for the answer. what do you mean STB setting? and do you know where can i get codes?

HI - I got the same reciver recently - and i want to know how to enter new code - for that you need to know the ((master key code)) for this reciver - I didnt understand dornol reply - i tried it and didnt work - hope some one help on this - and i will keep watching this page - thanks all

Hi kj 123



The master key is indeed 1-2-3-4. this is how you enter the STB key option:
  • press MENU
  • with the arrow keys go to STB Setting (but do not press enter)
  • press 1234 (again without enter)
Now you can choose the encryption key code you wish to enter.

Thank’s very much ,It worked , and I will be thankfull if you till me from where I can get the code update for each system (Viaccess – Nagravision – Seca – Irdeto / BetaCrypt) , and if I can add more encreption systems like (Cryptoworks - Mediaguard - TPScrypt) to the current systems

The important question of course is what are you trying to open using keys? Theres not much open in your part of the world
