Upgrading Starsat codes to view encripted channals

hello guys,

i am new in the field of upgrading, i have Starsat SR-X 150D+
i wanted to know, when you want to upgrade the encryption
codes to view encrypted channels, do u have to clean the
version of software you have on your reciever all together and
download the new software first and then download the codes
to the reciever, or just the codes will be enough.

a couple of more questions guys,

what is the difference between eMUpgrade and DreamLoader and when do u use which?
and when do you use serial cable and when Nullcable?

any help will be greatly appreciated

with eMUpgrade upgrade your firmware(the bin file)and with drealoader the hex file (key.hex)

I am new here too, but I guess I can help you with this. I think you are talking about StarSat. Well, I tried loading only the HEX. keys (through dream loader)but it didn't work well! I suggest, you upgrade ur firmware (BIN) first and then do the HEX. keys using dream loader.

can anyone help me please i have a Vortec VS9800 CI+ and a STARSAT SR-X1500D Super MK-II can i watch encrypted channels with anyone of them without a card.
