Smile UR software IS there!

I think you guys already visited www.satsw.com but can't find the right file/folder. Well click here http://www.satsw.com/Upload/Nov_27_SR-120_130_150_2000ch_1M.zip This is the latest software for your receivers (Starsat 150) BUT first, make sure you remove the previous software through this http://www.satsw.com/Upload/sw_ver_clean_for_SR-X120,150,200CI.zip
The rest should be easy.
Hope it works out for you
<< If you need further details, go to http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/forum/showthread.php?t=31602 and follow thread # 7 & #8 (except that you use the software for YOUR receiver as per links I just gave u)>>

My System: Starsat,Strong, Onyx, Omax, Astrasat, Condor, Starcom, Astrovox, JTAG. Laptop,Desktop.

dear tharek, if the bin file fits to your receiver's model then it's not necessaire to use the cleaner. you can directly upload the new software.

Dear Digital2
and thanks from your brilliant comments.
my question is?
in the adress you have mentioned there is a simillar soft ware:
Jan_22_SR-X120_130_150_2000CH_1M.zip, and the one you had mentioned (Nov_27_SR-120_130_150_2000ch_1M.zip is not anymore there .
i would be pleased if you shall tell me wethere i can use it to upgrade my StarSat, SR-X150+ or not?
and since this is my first time that i am upgrading my system is it neccessary to use sw_ver_clean_for_SR-X120,150,200CI.zip first?

regards
gogol

Cool are these features exists in star sat srx150d+:HW=35.31, SW=36.3, Model ID= 7A20)

i was going to upgrade my STAR SAT SR-X150D+ by emupgrade with _http://www.satsw.com/Upload/Jan_22_SR-X120_130_150_2000CH_1M.zip
but it did not worked.

so i used the _http://www.satsw.com/Upload/sw_ver_clean_for_SR-X120,150,200CI.zip but after that it did not worked again and so my reciever is not working at all!!!!

and once again i tried but this time i mistakenly choosed SDX instead of prog, data(in emupgrade) this time upgrade was complete but the reciever give an ERROR(sw not match, ERR 07) i do not know what to do????

now even after sw-ver clean when i upload the version it shows: HW=35.31, SW=36.3, Model ID= 7A20) please someone guide me what to do???
you can also Email me: emamddrc*ams.ac.ir

thanks in advance

Yes we know and we would appreciate it if you didnt scatter your requests over several threads - folks end up wasting their time duplicating answers you already have on a previous thread.

As for your problem - give us a chance - many folks only log on a couple of times a week. Or it might be that no-one knows of course. You could just take it back to the nearest dealer and have them flash it correctly for you.

I would guess you should be able to just over-write the software file onto the receiver. HOWEVER you need the correct s/w or obviously it wont work. If you are completely stuck you may need to contact a dealer.

The error ERR 07 you got is only because you have not downloaded the right software into your receiver which should match with your H/W version. I believe one of the below files should match with your receiver and you should have back all the channels:
Jan_22_SR-X120_130_150_2000CH_1M
Jan_22_SR-X120_130_150_4000CH_2M

Jan_22_SR-X120_130_150_4000CH_V7

Good luck!

Starsat update

dear gogol

As you may know there are three types of update files for SR-150D starsat recievers which refers to the hardware model:
SR-X120,130,150D CH2000,1M (1 megabyte cash memory)
SR-X120,130,150D CH4000,2M (2 megabyte cash memory)
SR-X120,130,150D CH2000,V (V series hardware)
I think that you have not choosen the correct file for your reciever
you can see your reciever hardware model in menu.then get the right file
I hope a successful updating for you

Sincerely yours
Shahrouz
