How To Upgrade Strong Receiver By Pictures

You will need:

- a null modem cable (RS 232?) - female to female;

- a 'Loader' software (to be downloaded to PC)

- a 'Patch' software (to be downloaded to PC)

- latest set of keys software (aka softcam) for your receiver

Then start Loader and use it to upload first the patch and, second, the softcam to your receiver.

To get the loader, patch and softcam you need to go to a particular site: google '***** forum' (you will need to register)

Make sure that the loader, patch and softcam that you download are the correct ones for your particular receiver.

From Ghana a 1mtr dish looks like it will struggle on Nilesat 102 at 7deg West. See the footprint here, It is worth a punt though, you have nothing to lose.

It would help if you told us what you are pointing at currently, there are many Sats called Pas.

where in nigeria i used 2.8m prime-focus dish for Nilesat 102 and 101,where is the strongs the transponder 10758 v 27500 but for offset dish the sizer will be smaller ,you can the position dish at 7w

Help !,
I have a STRONG SRT4651X with an ir.deto smart card(with a usb slot) but cant seem to find a loader,patch nor a softcam.I have uploaded my Echolink but it seems that Strong has so many kinds/types of Decorder/Receiver.I need to open all my channel and add more if possible
