This looks pretty simply and easy to follow, but will this method work for upgrading other models of strong, like SRT4710? If not how can SRT4710 be upgraded? Can a CAM be installed by simply upgrading the software?

Becarefull you donot use the software of 4800ii for your receiver 4800. they
are not the same, watch out.

I have pached a Skymaster DX 22 FTA in a Strong 6125, but I Receive no signal at all, because the nr. of Skymaster-Tuner was 0184. After paching , I so in same forums that :
the paching succcessed only by Tunner-NR. 0194.
Now I can not return back to the org.Software ...
So my question is:
Can anyone help me how to get Life again in my Receiver?
(not with JTAG, I have apsolut no idea how to do with it ...)

I've Strong SRT3680 (old hardware) and I booted it successfully with SRT3680_B21_2005-09-06. I've charged a new Factory Data for CanalSatellite Horizon and FST frequencies on NSS 703.
My pb is I have got crypted chanel : black screen ....
