I have a Traxis DB2500 reciever and would like to find out more about how to get software downloads for it???

I tried to flash my traxis dbs2500 with the file 6800emu.rar from your website dvd.nease.net. After I flashed, I can't see the menu and picture from the receiver, I guess I got it wrong.
I tried to flash it back with my original firmware bin from factory? But it verified failed. I try somemany way,but I still can't fix the receiver.
anybody gave me any comments?

dont worry about it ,buddy,
follow the following steps:

1.download Upgrade tools and install SC-16M(cpupgrade1.0)

2. use cpupgrade1.0 to upgrade loader file loader103.bin

3. use cpupgrade1.0 to upgrade Usa-traxis2500(27 Dec 04)

yes,I did, I use cpupgrader1.0 to upgrade loader1.03 it transfered the file, but when it get to the verfying process it failed.

yes my receiver's loader verison is 1.07 after use 6800emu.rar

which contains loader_1.0.7-64k.bin, SW3.2.79-KEY-UPGRADE.bin,Upgrade 1.0.7

Btw, how do i determine that if i got an sharp tuner I open the receiver.I found samsung 419 chip, OMEGA sti5578dvc, tnv0304 etc,

don't know where to look at it. I saw samsung chips on it.

btw, I tested the file Sun-create(14 Sep 05) before i try to flash 6800emu file.

Sun-create(14 Sep 05) worked!!

hi! bro,kindly rockchang.

Is it possible to degrade a 550d loader_1.07 to loader_1.06?
Since traxis only allow higher loader version file to be upgraded!
My question is that the case that the bios software check the file verison to verify the upgrade.If I use hexeditor to modify the header of 1.06 loader to the version that higher than the 1.07, will it work?
Or what specific model of arion remote i can use?? where to buy it?

Had and still have same exact problem but fixed it once.

I had the same situation on my traxis. I loaded the 1.07 loader and couldnt get anything to work on it. I figured a way out to get other software to load back on the unit even the original software. But I was in a hurry to free up some space one day and deleted every file I had edited originally and my original read from the traxis. I think the way I fixed it half way revolved around the original software read I did useN the origianl loader software. The other half involved useN the 6800 emu software SW3.2.79-KEY-UPGRADE.bin

If someone could hook me up with a original first time read of a traxis 1500 or 2500 I could make the file again and post it. What sucks is sure the unit work just like it was factory but it still has loader 1.07 on it after the flash.

Hi,
Do you have NTSc version of the file? I was able to upload emu file. But could not work as it is meant only for PAL. Thanks!
Edit:
I tried to revert the recvr to original bin.. It said transfer failed midway and the dispaly shows 0000 and nothing works now.. any solution?

Computer does not communicate with receiver anymore!
