Hi!!! I upgraded my ECHOSTAR AD 3000IP in January 2004 from their official site. Is anybody aware if there is a new upgrade available? Is it possible to watch the MULTIVISION, TPS, POLSAT.... channels without using the CAM MODULE?? I bought the MATRIX RE-LOADED CAM but for some reason looks like my receiver does not recognize the CAM whereas the same CAM works with HUMAX (though with frequent interruptions). Any thought ?? thanks!!!! | ||

| Neki I don't think there is any unofficial firmware for Echostar receivers. I have an 808 and have never seen anything; I too have a matrix reloaded cam. With regards to getting your cam recognised in the receiver - try ejecting and reinserting the cam a few times with the receiver powered up - eventually I got the cam to initialise in my 808. | ||
