Star sat SR-X550D Super software? ultra or super?

Hi,

I use a star sat SR-X550D super with software super_2M_V236 and it's working fine.
On the web site http://www.satsw.com/ I find also a software Ultra_V236 !!!!

What is the difference beetween the SUPER and ULTRA solware?
Ultra soft is it compatible with my star sat SR-X550D super ?

I had exaclty the same doubt about the SR-X650. Also for this receivers there are 2 s/w versions: Super & Ultra. The SUPER version works on my receiver, no problem. But when I loaded it into a newer version of the same receiver model, it did not work. I suppose the ULTRA version refers to this newer version of the same receiver model. Indeed this newer version differs from the previous one because it's got an embedded CAM.

Same receiver may have 3 different hardware platforms inside - for example, same Neosat 1600SX had been known to exist in 3 different hardware versions - STI5118 chip, ali 3329B and ali 3329C. All looks, menus and remote shape are the same, just hardware and firmware different. here may be same idea.
