can u use bluestar .auc file with liberty9800ci

hello all ,
a friend has a liberty 9800ci box & he uses a .auc file to update his box, & the box looks just like an openbox 5,
can i use the new bluestar/openbox firmware (sec*2) .auc with the liberty box?
