Hi nr66
It is possible you are using the incorrect cable. Is it a null modem cable or standard RS232 ?
Do not always believe the manual

i have same problem, but mine is powersky cisk8210 aka sky2.
i use arioner to upload *.auc to the stb but everytime it will return "download fail", but when i use PS loader to upgrade skychip, no problem. is there a possibility that arioner & ps loader needs a rs 232 cable with different pin configuration?
