BEC6800 Knackered by wrong upgrade..help!!

Hi,
I Uploaded the wrong ROM file to my receiver - result - boots then display ---- with no remote or front controls working.
I built a buffered jtag cable and jtag correctly recognises the ST5500 processor but cant get any further as the jtag info file does not list my box.
The ROM is an SST 39VF800A
The BEClink prog will not communicate with the box.
Anyone know anything about this problem?
All help greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem db6600, boots up than shows dashes...need help please!!!!!

Unfortunately not many people with these receivers now, they are becoming a bit long in the tooth, not really sure what you can do to remedy the error.
