Upgrading Starsat 550D

Hello guys,

I'm a newbee, I have a Starsat 550D receiver, trying to upgrade with new software, .....all I receive is """waiting BOOB"' ... I guess its trying to tell me waiting boot!!!! Any ideas...

Assuming you have everything connected right, when you see that message, just press OK ! and wait !!

Gee thanks Ray....

But waiting ..... probably an hour.... not forever ( ...so plz let me know how long or if there is another loader

Make sure your receiver is switched on, showing a channel or something!
and then press ok!
it should start uploading shortly.
if it doesnt then check your connections,
and most of all, check your com port for the uploader! it should say COM1, but maybe you are using COM2. so change it and try again.

ps. ehm, I am assuming you downloaded the correct and latest firmware from www.satsw.net !!!
