Friends I am able to watch Arabsat2d from Madhya Pradesh using Dish tv Oval dish .Worthy channels are MBC2(FTA hollywood movies),mbc1,mbc3,mbc4,the music channel (mc),the one.

Dear Maxibig,
Can you give some more details about the satellite? Which Direction? Foot print is over India for this satellite? (I am from Kerala)
Is there anyother satellites which can be receieved using the Ku band dish?

i am planning to get a DISH TV installation for my parents at Chennai. I would like your feedback on the quality of the programs - movies, talk shows, serials, the languages available etc. i watch MBC2 , MBC4 and One TV regularly here in KSA. R u able to pick up these channals in MP with the decoder given by the service provider, without any mods?

Hi Frieds from India
The DISH TV is playing games with their channels.Sometimes they are making some of their channels clear next day bk to scrambled.Then shifting to other transponder then again back to clear.Really bad to the viewers on DD platform like me.Also I like to know some of the friends are getting 10977 H 36000 CGN TV and BBC World Sevice Radio channel at11172 H 27500 as per lyngsat?What is an interactive channel as mentioned DISH TV 'Interactive' and Planet Sky?

Sorry Freinds I was away.
Arabsat 2d has a EIRP or 40 over most of India.I am not sure about Kerala or South India .but may be you can watch it using Bigger dish .Use calculators on the net to find your Az/El.Zenega is a good receiver and you do not require any modifications to watch Fta channels.
MBc and One tv on Arabsat are English with Arabic subs. great quality.
If you are unable to receive 2d , using bigger dish you can receive 2c as the channels are repeated on C band

Yes Maxi Its a Christian religious channel in Korean language.CGN for Christian Global Network I think.You have any idea when the new 17 channels will be coming up in DD Platform?

You better use the LNB for Nilesat 101/102 which you can see lot of channels including Engllish, Arabic songs, cartoon channels. It is in same direction of arabsat but little 1 degree left. You will get more channels than arabsat.

You better tune it to Nilesat satellite, it is in same direction of arabsat. You will get more english channels. Also you can enjoy more arabic songs (lebanon songs are little bit sexy, beautiful girls) on this. You will get all MBC channels, Saudi2, Channel ONE of Dubai, Music Channel, Sound Track Channel, etc etc.

are you sure Nilesat 101/102 are just 1 degree left.
Dear Nilesat 101/012 are in 7 degree West position which is not possible to get in india. we can hardly get 3 degree East position satellite
