Kaon Receiver For Dish Tv

Dear Lokesh,

Please try .........

Step 1

Equipment to prepared EA. Same model (ex, CI model .CI model, PVR model .PVR model…)


RS-232 Cable (Same as you used in ZENEGA)



REMOCON

HOST STB: STB from which new software, or new channels is upgraded.

SLAVE STB: STB to which new software is upgraded.



Step 2

Power OFF the SLAVE STB.



Step 3



Code power (Master S/W on Back Panel) OFF and then ON your HOST STB.

Press successive FP [EXIT], [EXIT], [EXIT], RCU [MUTE] key within 3 second.

(FPmeans front panel, RCU means remote controller.)

Then STB will reset automatically, and turned on as HOST STB mode.



Step 4

Connect your HOST STB and SLAVE STB by RS-232 Cable.



Step 5

Power on the SLAVE STB, then SET to SET Upgrade starts automatically.

(Front panel displays the status of upgrade process, like as Dn00, Up00, End…)



Step 6

If no action on front panel, then please turn OFF the SLAVE STB and ON again.



Step 7

Even several times of retries of Step 6, if there is no action,

Please retry from step 2.

Please don’t power off, when upgrade is on processing. STB could be damaged.

On upgrade mode, power key is not available.



If there is any problem on upgrading software, then contact with www.KaonMedia.com.

friends, I cannot continue with experimenting with my Kaon receiver unless I get a backup
software. I need it urgently. please provide some help for the software which can take backup of
all my receivers firmware and data.

What's problems with my lover indians.

If you have authorized receiver and have edit function in Kaon receiver then why you waste your own time and others to ask again and again for loader. whats it need so important and what's u want more and wahts' experiments you want to do with it..

See and enjoy with the available software . Is you do special work through this LOADER , do it

Mr. vivek why did u ask or beg in this forum all the time although you have good contacts in Dish TV with SOB ( Ajay arora) and others in technical department. Ask them to give Loader if you need very urgent.

and Mr. Lokesh why you give lengthy research in this forum. You could not hack Zeneja till today instead of 100 postings and now u waste time on Kaon

Do that which is special , do not write post and post as you do in Zenega

Mr. Gupta, please don't say that I am a DISHTV man. U don't know a single word about me, u even don't know who I am and from where I am? I hope that DISHTV people has a lot of work to do then to just post in this forum.

Don't try to change the original software. No software is available for KAON 100 MCO supplied by Dish TV. It is exclusively made for Dish TV. Even if you contact manufacturers, they will direct you to Dish TV.
If you have problem, contact the local dealer. By changing the original software, I have spoiled my STB. What ever software available does not suit.It is not even identifying free channels even though the input of frequencies are correct.More over it is not supporting Conax view card.

Ok guys for quite long i was just watching your post and none of u are smart enough for hacking conax system so pls excuse me for what i say, first of all u cant change software for your kaon its pre arrange by dish tv for their own protection so just forget the idea of patching it will not work as they are really smart people, for all to the secret information is its nagra tunneled conax so u cant use your card to any other boxes wont work to get the keys which is 20 and 21 then u need jtag which u can easily can google how to read the chip with jtag and u get box id which is very most heart of your card or just can say its your master key for your own card if u can suceed this then its easy to have conax mosc this info is more then or the eyes are watching on this post marry xmas

Initially when I bought KAON KSC100 MCO receiver from dish Tv package, I was able to select other satellite from existing 50 satellite list using main Menu and factory reset. Now I find only NSS6 by repeating same installation procedure. Help me how can I find other satellites in installation Menu?
