My System: Satellite TV
Connection Cable-USB to RS232(Female)

Hi....when we are upgrading the receiver to computer, as I know, we have to use cable RS232(both female). I would like to know, is it possible to use USB to RS232? Is it working succesfully?

Just make sure that the serial cable(RS232) is suitable for your receiver. Some use crossed cables (ie. null modem cable), others - like mine, need a cable that is wired straight thru' (pins not crossed).

Your receiver's instructions should tell you which type you need.
