Strong STR 4355 EVO ..plz plz HELP

Hi Forum,

i am absolutly new in things like Sat Receiver and here in Forum. I have some Problems with my STRONG STR 4355 EVO and i hope anyone can help me or have some informations about my Problem. I hope i am right here :-)

Here are my questions:

1. What for Software i need to upload Keys
2. What for keys i need for Strong str 4355 evo
3. Need i a Firmware update before uploading keyfiles

third question first, yes you do need to update the firmware from the original strong firmware before you can enter keys.

the newest firmware i could find was from 16th april 2004, but when i uploaded it into my 4355evo it worked ok (only a few channels as most have either changed encription or changed keys).

the keys can be found in the keys section of this site.

you can enter the keys manually into the receiver after uploading this firmware

below is the firmware and loader files i used on my 4355. just plug out your receiver, connect it to your computer via null modem cable, click on the dos batch file and turn your receiver back on. the program will take a few minutes and do not stop it half way through or turn off the power or you can do damage to the receiver. i have used this program with no problems and it tested ok, but i cant be held responsible if it does not work for you. all i can say is it worked for me. hope this helps.

sorry about the file i thought it was ok to load it here, is there anywhere on this site i could upload it as i cant find the site which i downloaded it from.

i have not tried any of the patches here but it lists a good few more up to date than the one i have.

ps i hope this does not break the rules as it is not a live link as far as i know.

i have tried the latest patch from the site above and it worked no problem, the patch is from may 2005 so its nearly up to date.

In have Strong STR4356PVR
Do you have any SW for it to make it a EMU one? if not is the SW for 4355 any good for mine?
