My dish is fixed at 93.5 degree east and I have digital supernet receiver. How could it be benifited by upgrading softwate and how could i do it, it is not connected to my pc yet. The receiver has a RS232 serial connector. How could i connect it to pc and how could i install the downloaded software on it. THanks.

If anybody could help me! I have strong 3680 and after dialing a master code I get 4 black strips and possibility to fill in digits-letters combinations. What I have to fill in? If anybody knows? Please explane. Thanks in advance.

No problem to open the file,have you installed > win rar program???you have to install the program first.

Has any one found the patch code for the SL65. If so does it work. And how easy is it to download to the receiver. As Iam new to this please help.

Looking at Google I have found (I hope I have) a site where I can download the latest patch for my Technomate receiver.
As a test I have downloaded the file but realized that it is zip
and here - I get stuck - already.
I thought that by linking the cable from the laptop to the receiver I would have more luck - but (probably not). I have also (NOW) realised that the laptop has a 15pin female socket while the Technomate is a 10pin male socket.
More confused on how 10 pin can actually work on a 15 pin.
ANYWAY - how does one download and upgrade the patch on a satellite receiver? please ! remembering that I don't really know what to do with a zip file (it opens with a lot of crap and it is not an .EXE file).
