My System: DB 500 S,Strong 4622, Viasat Denmark card and receiver, Moteck 2100 Motor, Triax1.1 dish, infinty programmer, cas interface2. |
I have just got my TM 7755 receiver , I tried to connectet to my PC using RS232 nul modem , I know how to download the firmware ect but my PC can not detect the new hardware , do I need any software or driver ? any ideas to let this cable work? Many Thanks | ||

My System: Dreambox 7000, Skystar2 | I imagine you will have to obtain a small loader app. Normally you run this on the PC with the cable connected but the receiver disconnected from the mains. Then you switch on the STB when instructed and the fimware flashing process commences. MAKE SURE you have the correct firmware, and that you read the loader instructions properly before you get started, or you may toast your new toy. STICK | ||
