Is there a patch for the SL65?
Where can it be downloaded?
Does it work?

The original eXthus forums have closed on 15th December 2005.

Others have been formed from the ashes - this site (very slow) has links...

That's the one link I have.

Give it time took about a minute to load here on 2MB broadband!

Links are in list on left hand side...

Portuguese was never my strong point

Babelfish translation is not much better.

"Finally already I tried, and already I obtained to put to function almost everything. It stows 30 almost me to decide the problem of autoroll, because I delayed much time to change for the 48 escalera 11 and the key got excited. I find that it was therefore, or also can have been for erasing floor 49, or was not to function for I to have extinguished others providers. Now it was to function alone with floor 48.
I obtained to put to function the m*dia park, but multi never I obtained.
I arrived รก conclusion that the publisher is very sensivel. If to erase them to me to provider superior, kaka soon leaves to function, and has to make the Bacussi solution another time. After being everything to function, I disconnect the receiver in the interruptor to see if the Startup channel showed the shelter, and when I bound it said "In the CA providers". I had to bind to the PC and to order first * urt, and to come back to put the keys all. To less I did not have to command the canals all another time."

I see it all now

My System: comag sl55

Hi Gandalf,
all i know is the box is a comag sl55 and the dish is an old run of the mill sky dish. We had an analogue box until the italian channels went digital then we just changed the box and scanned hotbird for the channels. It came out of the packet and was plugged in. I don't live in a freeview area at the moment so the regular 5 bog-standard english channels come in on an ordinary tv ariel. (I know basic or what!)
What happened... the box wouldn't turn off, then a / load appeared on the front panel, that has now disappeared and I'm left with a red light and nothing else. When it's turned off to try and reboot it comes on at the channel it was last at and dies again.
Make any sense?

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

May be worth getting yourself a Null Modem cable and reflashing the box, could be simple software corruption.

Hi greenlou..
I agree with rowlf, reflashing will also give you so many more options with your viewing if you point it at the right satellite and have the right software...did you check all your connections? are your f-connectors tight and no loose strands of copper wire touching the main wire? if you have no joy let me know and I can post on my regular comag forum to asee if there is an answer..
cheers

Hello Gandalf
Our friend Rolfw seems to know his stuff, but I dont understand what he means. On another post he invited me to do a blind scan and here he's suggesting reflashing the box, from what you say that may help me too.
What do these terms mean please?

Hi taywood...
Reflashing the box simply means changing the software that is factory installed with software written by some very clever guys/girls...this reflashed software should allow you to open up scrambeld channels..This is done by Buying/making a 9 pin null modem cable and transfering the software from a PC...you will also need a software program called a loader to allow you to do this..this usually comes in the same file as your flashing software....If your box is a comag there is a dedicated forum that gives you all the info needed. (do a search for comag on this forums search function)
hope this leaves you a little wiser
