Question Fortec Star fsci 5100 ultra

Currently has the al7bar 2.79 software just wondered if there was a later version.

As i cant access all viaccess and mediaguard channels.

entered the channel edit menu and found a menu (codes) have accessed this to key codes and powervu is not highlighted again giving no access to powervu channels.

Is it possible to download multicam software which will give access to the majority.

Thanx in advance

The short answer is no I'm afraid. As it is for most receivers. Mediaguard channels can only be obtained with a legitimate subscription to whatever company transmits the channels you want. Some viaccess stuf may be available but I'm not familiar with your particular receiver so maybe members with one will comment.

Nathan - you can forget any ideas about opening PowerVu - its ultra secure.

Theres not much viaccess stuff still around thats open - TPS and the Swiss stuff on 13E are ok (for the moment) but not much else.

Multivision down since last night on Fortec 5100 ultra.

There is a new AES key available from yesterday, but I don't think there is provision to enter it via remote.

I think we will have to wait for software update.

If anyone knows any different please advise.

Yorks.

You have the latest (2.79). I'm not aware of anything new since the middle of August.
