you can turn your receive super to ultra WITH VERSION 314 ONLY OF ULTRA. VERSION 319 320 321 322 OF ULTRA NOT WORKING ON SUPER

very important :you can't use sw v319 320 321 of ultra on other receiver than ultra it self heres.
only sw v314 of ultra can be used on other sw than ultra

the right way is:

1.first load file called"ID TRUMAN"
2.secound load this version only of software ultra v314

what is "ID TRUMAN" software file and why you need it?
its a cleaner erase protocol&prevent protocol error which mean prevent the refues to new protocol& its safe tested software this is safefull and tested procedure done as the first step to change your software model to other kind such as from starcom to bright model or sonysat etc.

turn magic 2004 a complete exapline example:
receiver magic have a commerical name magic 2004 & there is a different receiver magic 2003 also having a different hardware , but in reality the receivers magic don't have an independent softwares,
the manufacturing company magic it self uses the softwares of another company such as starsat, it doesn't programming a software for its product & so goes on with name DB D-BOX 8800 .
so when you make up your mind you may be see the software installed in your receiver is indeed the software of starsat 550 super..

and the company of TRUMAN developing a software to allow changing to be right without problems & facing the issue of protocol refuse which i will explain later.this softwre call "ID TRUMAN"


the informations value of your receiver is :

1.software "SW" version which indicate the current using software & changing according to used software.the number of sw is the latest three number only.so newest sw is updated which mean changed time aftar time so uou can desigen many sw for one hardware

2.loader version which indicate the loader using for upload sw usually 2.0 & don't changing . there is tow loader "simple upload" usually attach to sw file & "IRD TOOL 2M=August_26,Tools" used for upload sw and pictures ,these loaders are tools not a sw and there versions currently don't changed.

3.the most important is hardware"HW" version which is 9.6 for all following receivers:

HARDWARE 9.6 = starcom 550 super = starcom 550 ultra = sonysat 9500 = sonysat 9000 plus= truman 100 = bright 4200 = micro-x mdr 4500 = magic 2004 = D-box DB-8800

all these receivers"STB" have the same physical part

there is a golden rule in receiver world says:
you can install any software on your receiver if it have the same hardware"HW" version as of your receiver have,
only hardware version matching is needed for using any softwre on your receiver so this answare your question :Is turning it"magic2004 to Sonysat or Other clone, available for any version of my Magic 2004 ? & there is a long list of matching receivers i will attach it in the end.note:somtimes different hw numbers indicating the same physical part but this is not what we are talking about.

back to our issue turning STB to another similar STB which realy meaning change sw only

i said company TRUMAN developing a software to allow this changing to be right without problems & facing the issue of protocol refuse which i will explain now.this softwre call "ID TRUMAN".
what happen when you try to install other sw family different from current used sw?
you will recive message says:Invalid Protocol which mean the new protocol is refused .
to overcome this problem you should use transitory sw "ID TRUMAN"
its a cleaner erase protocol&prevent protocol error which mean prevent the refues to new protocol& its safe tested software this is safefull and tested procedure done as the first step to change your software model to other kind such as from super to ultra ,from starcom to bright model or sonysat etc.

when you try upload sw "ID TRUMAN" at the first time and after recive message Waiting baboo and press ok you may be recive message "Invalid Protocol" but but here continue trying upload it when the STB is on ,not in "standby mode = in the beging of booting when the receiver is plug to electricity and at which the version of sw is showing for example 233"
continue try upload it untill it accepted and completly uploaded=the window saying ok is apper & the STB screen show 100 and booting goes on automaticaly and the number 225 is showing then screen shows letters

after success uploading of "ID TRUMAN"

its the time to upload any selected sw model starsat, truman, sonysat ,bright
choose a one corresponding to your needed"review page one" and upload it

mine"magic2004" has never been upgrated before.

SO u should do the following:
1.every 32 digit line divided to tow lines with 16 digit in each one.
2.put it in the right index as follows:
-for POLSAT DIGITAL+ TV CABO MEDIAPARKE:u will given tow lines with index 00 & 01 and each one cosiste of 32 digit :
divid index line 00 to tow 16 line and give it the indexs:80 & 81
divid index line 01to tow 16 line and give it the indexs:90 & 91

ENTER THE KEYS

Any software upgrade for the Starsat X550D plus please.

jackO ignore all the questions I asked earlier on ..and i only have one question, I duno what sw my 550 has on right now but recently I just tried to insert a key through the remote from input code ,I chose TPS , viaccess andI edited the codes for 01 11 only but the channels didnt open..
Problem is I dont want to change the sw or do any updates because the current sw opens all Eurosport channels ,except for ES2 which is supposed to be on the TPS and these are theonly channels im interested in keeping open for now.
Im using a 16 digit key ..and i noticed its not saving the new key im inserting it goes back to the same old key before ..
So im not sure what to do to make sure the new keys i put in are saved and also if its a 16 digit key i put the same 16 digit key on 00 and 01 or what?>

i have convert successfully SW325. but after upgrade now receiver did not find any channels. and cannot downgrade to previos version.

i cann't say any thing else reinstall the file from the web site again cause your used file my be damaged for unknown reasone for me

1.the soluation is by load cleaner id truman but u saied u cann't load any sw so this is i think the big probleme
2.if u still cann't install any sw so u have tow choices
-the stb wtite load then don't responce
- the stb don't responce at all
- if thier is other thing written in your stb when u try loaded please write it to me its so important
3.stb don't responce at all :u will go to J-TAG it by flash dump file loaded by J-TAG cable(J-TAG cable= 5 resistence of 100 ome+6 wires+25pin connector)which connect the printer port(LTP)(25 pin)with place on the stb board inside the stb its simple procedure

One of the Ultra has s/w 3.14 and works fine.
On the other one, i was running s/w 3.16, but as of this afternoon, it would lock ALL of T*PS and AB Sat (Except for NT1 and I Tele)...so i installed different s/w (3.19, 3.21, 3.22)...Problem was the new menu: i was unable to access the "hidden menu" to insert the AES keys (despite trying the codes you gave in an earliest post)... Then i came across the 3.21 for "ultra s".... got the old menu, but after a lil while, it locks again

Been thinking of just installing s/w 3.14, but i can't find it!!!!! I tried the link you posted (turkish site), but it seems they have removed the file
Would you happen to have it and be able to send it to me?

Also, i tried to use the 3.25 version you talked about earlier, but can't get the damn download to start...something about too many bytes being downloaded from my IP (which isn't even mine!!!)
