Theres HUNDREDS of receiver types out there. I mentioned those two in particular because there is a lot of unofficial support for them.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

I've moved this to the receiver software section, as it is probably more appropriate and there is a sticky thread at the top of the forum with receivers which have unofficial software patches available.

Send it back, get a refund
Dont waste your time on it

Why did you get it in the first place if the dealer is so far away ?

Nothing wrong with buying from far away, sometimes the prices can be very very competitive. If they don't sell it as being upgradable with unofficial software, why should they accept it back?
