Formating A Technomate

Is there anyway to completely wipe a Technomate 1000D. I've done factory reset,and NVRAM clear but to no avail. Theres a couple of faults with mine and I think If I completely wipe it and reinstall frimware etc it would cure the problem.

Problems are: On the channel selection screen it shows lines going down the screen, I've used both scart and and the RF connector.

it also wont lock onto feeds when I know it should. I mean when on a transponder with a feed on it if you move fine east or west up pops quality to 70%+ then if I go to save if disapears back down in the red and below 30%. I've also plugged in a TM 1500 which has no problems with the feeds.

When moving fine east or west using diseqc on a horizontal channel both signal and quality dissapear, all is fine on a vertical channel

I don't know of an erase image for the Techno's. You could try al-sats.

TBH it sounds more like a hardware problem. If it were me, I'd stick an original image back on it and RMA it sharpish.
