Hi all

Has anyone got or no about Lawrence 7200 receivers. I've upgraded mine using software from the Lawrence site and now need to get a new remote or a code that will work with a universal remote. The new remote must be for a LT7000D-X3.

i am feeling lucky to be here. i am a new mamber of this site. at the 1st day i wish to know how a receiver can be updated?

i dont have any idea about this. i hope you all are expriensed about that matter .i know you are so i hope some one will give a small brif about upgading receiver . thanks

hi, im using Micromax FTA 2400 and i would like to decode the Agila Satellite DREAM TV using Nagravision. I have the codes but my reciever is asking for a software upgrade.I have downloaded some files from the sites mentioned in arongsat.com but windows cannot identify what file type it is.what should i do? is there any substitute loader so i could upgrade my reciever? kindly advice...

Welcome to the forum. Theres plenty of info on the site about updating receivers and the procedures involved, so have a wander around the site. Although the general idea is the same, the exact sequence differes from receiver to receiver.

Nothing available for ART on any platform. If you want it you pay for it.

Having now got the correct patch for my make of reciever, do i upload it via the rs232 port, or from other sat sites saying it can only be p*tched via the jtag port of the reciever.

Got patch from smokies comag vaults first one for the sl65

Should be via the rs232 port. A few rare receivers can only be jtagged, which involves connections on the motherboard.

I have kaon KSF 202Z, HW: 16.C0.01
There aren't many firm updates for this version on internet latelly.
I've heard that maybe 16.C0.91 or 16.C0.A1 are compatibile with my 16.C0.01, but I am not 100% sure. So, if anyone knows something more about this, it would be a big help for me. Please, what do you think, should I try to load ...A1 instead of ...01 ? Thank you.

Do not try loading any receiver software unless you are 150% sure its correct for your receiver. Incorrect s/w will almost certainly ruin the receiver!

On my skyx, I've discovered a new window.

In code edit, after 8282, if I press yellow button, I can see a window showing Nagra edit key with many many FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.
Wath is the pirpose of that????

Thanks I found what I was looking for. the reason i did not seeit the first time was that it is spelt as one word not Star Track

Anyway I installed the latest upgrade on my Receiver and all went ok. I can partially recive some chanels that I could not before. Now I get "Software Upgrade" messages then 5 mins of viewing and the more upgrade. I assume the upgrade which is dated three days ago does not work

My reciver details are

Hardware version: 2100CE
Software Version: *STKA6799S841CNpnc
Datavase version: 008209
Boot Version 0017,1 [STKS841CN]

Should I run the automatic channel scan again or just wait for the next update and hope they fix the problems.

If its the TPS channels its caused by the twice hourly key changes. Theres nothing you can do about it.

Post 4 on page 1 of this thread. If your receiver isnt listed on those sites then probably not.
