I have made a really bad error and upgraded the above with the wrong firmware. And now it will not accept any upgrade or downgrade or the factory firmware. Does anyone know if there is a cure or have I totally nuked it. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!  | ||

kevy totally newked I am not so sure. I may be mistaken but I feel sure the Kaon can be Jtagged. Why not do a forum search for details and you may find to complete solution to your problem. It seems to depend on which board your stb has see here | ||

| Thanks toppervte33h, at least this gives me a little hope. I am not familiar with Jtag and have searched the internet for info but cannot find anything relevant to a kaon. I have a Cas interface 3 which I use for basics and I see that this supports Jtag but does not show how. Any help from anyone would be really appreciated as the kaon receiver is not mine but a friends and is only 3 days old.  | ||

My System: dreambox 500s | try severalls time to upgrade,sommetimes it will help but if you used a wrong bootloader then only JTAG is the answer h**p://people.freenet.de/SaT/jta.htm | ||
