problem with silvercrest sl65 lidl special

i am having a problem loading a channel list into the sl65. i have patched the receiver using a null modem cable and the bmisoft patch and the 'ewinloader 1.1.6' loader program and the receiver boots and seems to work ok apart from the fact that there is no list of satellites or tp's. i have tried to use 'STBeditor 2.0.23' to load the 'biespiellliste' channel list into the receiver but the progress bar goes to about 10% and stops. i have left this for about 20 minutes with no change. the program does not hang or crash but it loads nothing either. i have also tride to enter satellites manually but this does not work. i thought i might need a jtag connection rather than a null modem but the STBeditor program is for a null modem cable. any help would be appreciated. i have looked around this site and the net for a while but can find no answer. i have also adjusted the com port settings on my computer and this makes no difference either. thanks.

Hi Tapfit,

I think my post might help you: just 2 days ago I followed the next process and got my box up & running: (INCLUDING the list of SATs and TPs, this is what you need, right?).

I however am not able still to properly insert the K**ys to have "more" channels... This is what I posted a while ago. Pls if you find also some info, share it with me!

How to fuse loader
----------------------------
1) To replace the existing loader 3pE (H/W version 20p9) with new loader A0p1 via RS232.
Please do the below steps to replace loader version 3pE to loader version A0p1.
a) Invoke the loader 3pE(which is already present in box) in DFU mode using front panel keys (CH up + CH dn).
b) Use Winuploader4.2.8 tool and download MINILOADER_3PE_A0P1.urt via RS232.
c) This will update loader version 3pE to loader version A0p1.
d) After downloading the MINILOADER_3PE_A0P1, reboot the box. Now box boot with new loader version A0p1.
