Fortecstar Platinum Channel Data File

I have bought a Fortecstar Platinum Receiver. When I scan for channles, it picksup some channels and ignoring many others like ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, etc.

Is there a file with all channel data that I can download to my receiver ?

I need Channel Data File for Astra1, Astra2, Hotbird & Hispasat.

Thank you for your help.

Every little helps and a little help goes a long way!

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Does that receiver not have blind search? If not, just add the extra transponders, there probably aren't many missing.

Hello Rolf,

thank you for your reply.

It has blind search but I believe the tuner is weak. No problem with Dish & LNB. Have tried with another receiver; that works well.

Some of the channels say "No signal".

I have even tried Factory Reset and still no luck.

Every little helps and a little help goes a long way!

My System: Nothing at the moment until I find a remote for BigSat 6600CI. Pls see if you can help!

The problem should be with your LNB or DisEqC switch. Better check them.

Been there,Problem could be from the channels on the inclined orbit Hotbirds, try tilting your dish up 1-2 degrees (Inclination not elevation)

is your lnb settings correct, power on, 22k on. power scan will pick up all transponders on that receiver.
