Hacked or decoded software for Samsung DSR9500AY

Hey to all!
I own a Samsung DSR9500AY digital reciever, its all good and nice.. i have about 1750programs constantly changing frequencies but thats no problem. Id like to find out more about updating my software using computer. I got RS232 cable n all that stuff, i downloaded sum attachments that were on the site's threads n such so I wonder if there are any kinda people who would like to talk with me about that and instruct on how to do all of that? And im new with using HyperTerminal, i read on ceratin forums its good to use that for uploading software. Thanks in advance.

PS a little about my reciever:

What channels(s) are you hoping to watch - most of the pay tv services are currently completely secure.....

(Answer to post #3)

Not really. MV is secure unless you have one of the rare auto updating receivers. (The keys change every half hour or so) MTV comes and goes - Im not sure quite what their status is at the moment.

However all those channels are pay services so if they are so important to you then you need to be subscribing to a service in your own country.

DONT try flashing the receiver with ANYTHING unless you are 150% sure its the right software for your box. You WILL almost certainly ruin the box if you flash it with the wrong s/w!

Very smply you connect the receiver to the computer using most likley a null modem cable, run a loader programme then instruct the loader programme where the flash s/w is on the computer. It then overwrites the existing s/w on the receiver.

The exact procedure varies from box to box, so do some reading up BEFORE you try anything.

Theres a handful of channels open on Sirius 5E with a dragon cam. Please put your country in your profile - it makes it easier for anyone trying to help you. (Europe is a big area!)
